Your customers, services or segments

Enter revenue for at least one row to see results.
Formulas & assumptions
  • Net revenue = Revenue − Discounts & refunds not already deducted
  • Contribution profit = Net revenue − Direct costs − Customer-specific labour & servicing
  • Contribution margin = Contribution profit ÷ Net revenue
  • Combined servicing + discounts/refunds = Discounts & refunds + Customer-specific labour & servicing (comparison only; not an additional deduction)
  • Profit per service hour = Contribution profit ÷ Service hours
  • Shared overheads are not allocated.

What to check next

  • Review customer-level revenue, discounts, delivery costs, labour and service hours from your records.
  • Check whether large customers receive extra discounts, rush orders or longer payment terms.
  • Look at how long each customer takes to pay — slow payers also cost cash.
